These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of PixelMetrik (https://pixelmetrik.com) and related services. By accessing or using the site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

1. The service

PixelMetrik provides free browser-based utilities for developers and designers (JSON tools, CSS generators, SVG tools, color utilities, and related resources). Most tools run locally in your browser. Some features, including the AI Image Upscaler and optional account sign-in, require server-side processing described in our Privacy Policy.

2. No professional advice

Content and tools are provided for general informational and productivity purposes only. They do not constitute legal, security, accessibility, or professional advice. You are responsible for validating outputs before use in production systems.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the site to violate any law or third-party rights
  • Upload malware, illegal content, or material you do not have rights to process
  • Attempt to disrupt, scrape, or overload our infrastructure
  • Misrepresent your identity or circumvent usage limits
  • Use automated means to abuse server-side tools without permission

4. Accounts and credits

Optional sign-in may be offered for certain features. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials. Paid credits or subscriptions, if offered, are subject to pricing shown at purchase and applicable refund policies displayed at checkout.

5. Server-side processing

When you use server-side tools (such as image upscaling), you grant us a limited license to process uploaded content solely to provide the requested service. Do not upload confidential, sensitive, or personal data unless you accept that risk. See our Privacy Policy for retention practices.

6. Advertising

The site may display advertisements through Google AdSense and other partners. Ad content is provided by third parties; we do not endorse advertised products. Your use of ads is also subject to Google's policies and your consent choices where applicable.

7. Intellectual property

The PixelMetrik name, branding, site design, and original tool implementations are owned by us or our licensors. You retain ownership of content you input into tools. Generated output from local tools is yours to use subject to these Terms and any third-party licenses (for example, fonts loaded from Google Fonts).

8. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SITE AND TOOLS ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

9. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PIXELMETRIK AND ITS OPERATORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SITE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SITE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) USD $50.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless PixelMetrik from claims arising out of your misuse of the site, your content uploads, or your violation of these Terms.
